As Bacheler Technologies has grown, so has the number of communities we have the opportunity to be part of.
Our roots are in Central Alabama, and today our team also serves businesses throughout Middle Tennessee. For us, being part of a community means more than having clients or an office there. It means getting involved, building relationships, supporting organizations doing good work, and encouraging our team to give back in ways that matter to them.
That spirit of service has always been a big part of who we are.
In Alabama, Bacheler Technologies has supported Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama, including sponsorship of its Leading Ladies event. Members of our team have also volunteered with and supported the Heart of Alabama Food Bank, where Owner Craig Bacheler serves on the board of directors.
In Middle Tennessee, we have supported the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, and our Nashville team continues to find new ways to get involved locally. One of our support team members, Lauren, organized a donation drive for New Leash on Life of Middle Tennessee, giving our team an opportunity to support a cause that is especially meaningful to her.
Service also happens outside the workweek. Our COO, Brian Davis, has volunteered with Feed My Starving Children alongside the Patriot Marching Band of Pike Road, helping pack meals for children and families in need. It is another example of how members of our team find ways to serve through organizations, schools, and community groups they are personally connected to.
Owner Craig Bacheler, CEO Daniel Nelson, and members of our team have also supported What’s at Stake Men’s Ministry, another example of our employees getting involved with organizations and causes that are personally meaningful to them.
That same spirit can be seen across our team. Katie Dulak has championed support for Child Protect Children’s Advocacy Center, an organization that is especially meaningful to her. Katie also served on Child Protect’s Junior Board for a year, giving her the opportunity to support its mission more directly and help strengthen awareness and involvement around the work the organization does for children and families in our community.
That matters to us because community involvement at BT is not meant to be something that only happens when there is a company-sponsored event on the calendar. Our team is naturally service-minded, and we want to support that.
Whenever we can, we create opportunities for employees to volunteer during work hours with our nonprofit partners. We also encourage team members to get involved with causes that are near and dear to their own hearts. Sometimes the best way we can support our communities is simply by helping our people support the organizations they already care about.
Last year, that idea was also part of our CrewHu for a Cause campaign. Employees were given the opportunity to donate the reward bucks they earned through CrewHu to local charities, turning everyday recognition within our team into another way to give back.
During the holiday season, we took a similar approach with our client giving. Rather than focusing solely on traditional Christmas gifts and treats, Bacheler Technologies directed resources to both the Heart of Alabama Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to help families facing food insecurity in the regions we serve.
All of these efforts look a little different, and that is the point.
Community involvement does not have to mean supporting one organization or one type of cause. It can mean donating, volunteering, serving on a board, organizing a collection drive, supporting a ministry, or helping an employee rally the team around something important to them.
That is also why being nominated for a Titans of the Industry Award in the Community Involvement category is especially meaningful to us.
For our team, the nomination represents more than recognition for a single event, donation, or campaign. It reflects the collective effort of people across Bacheler Technologies who choose to give their time, resources, and energy to the communities around them. It speaks to a culture where service is encouraged, where employees are supported in getting involved, and where giving back is part of how we define being a good local business partner.
We are grateful for the recognition, but even more grateful for the organizations that give our team opportunities to serve and for the employees who continue to step up when they see a way to help.
When we say we serve Central Alabama and Middle Tennessee, we mean more than providing IT services in those areas.
We want to be active members of those communities.
As Bacheler Technologies continues to grow, we hope the ways our team serves, volunteers, gives, and gets involved will continue to grow right along with us.
